To welcome this autumn, Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong has partnered up with the gourmet French brand, Plantin Kaviari, to present you a luxurious truffle and caviar afternoon tea set from this 1 November to 31 December.

Trip for your palate

The curated menu is delicately crafted by the culinary team at Kerry Hotel to pay tribute to the French culinary craft, family traditions and fine food. Each epicurean bite of the tiers consists of a selection of French caviar and truffles by Plantin Kaviari.

For this November, the savoury highlights include an elegant Kaviari Smoked Salmon Imperial Fillet and Kristal® Caviar topped with apers and chive crème fraîche, a variety of Pâté dishes, such as Plantin Black Truffle Wild Mushroom Pâté on malted brown bread with garlic aioli, Smoked Foie Gras Pâté with wild blueberry jam and fresh brioche and Mackerel Rillettes and Cod Pâté with Kaviari Baeri Caviar on charcoal bread.

For December, the Plantin Kaviari journey continues, as the Kerry Hotel makes adjustments to the menu to explore more of French gastronomy and prepare for the festive season. The savoury dishes include “Caviche” Hokkaido Scallop topped with Kaviari Kristal Caviar, A Wild Truffle Mushroom Soup with truffle croutons and truffle snow, Lobster Rillettes & Shellfish Pâté with Kaviari Bottarga, which is also known as the Mediterranean caviar, on charcoal bread and Confit Duck Leg and Foie Gras Pie with wild blueberry jam.

The menu for the sweets will remain the same throughout November and December. The Kerry hotel signature Freshly Oven Baked Scones with house-made clotted cream and a selection of jams is on the menu. As well as a classic Black Forest Cake with a dark chocolate mousse, cherry jelly and Kirsch Chantilly, Winter Buttermilk Panna Cotta with yuzu jelly, hazelnut crumble and praline foam, Mont-Blanc Tart with a clementine compote and vanilla and chestnut cream, and a Bastigne cake, a gingerbread sponge layered with pear confit and cinnamon mousse.

Bookings

The afternoon tea set will be provided at 2:00 pm to 5:30pm on weekdays at the price of HKD668, and 1:30pm to 6:00pm on weekends and public holidays at the price of HKD688(subject to 10%service charge). Each set is prepared for two people, coffee or tea is included with an unlimited refill. For an additional HKD228, you can get 2 glasses of Veuve Clicquot Champagne NV.
